EXPATRIATE live at SFR now available to watch online

Held on Wednesday 28th October in Paris, the band performed a more laid back show which was watched by a very intimate audience.

EXPATRIATE Competition Winner's Blog - Read Her Experience
05.12.2009Read below the blog written by the winner of the EXPATRIATE mail sign up competition; Anika Erichsen. Her prize? To go and watch EXPATRIATE and PLACEBO perform at the Leipzig Arena on November 21st, here's what she thought of the prize!
"This year in August we received a great message: We had won the competition of Expatriate.com to meet this fantastic band we had first seen in Hamburg when they supported Dredg. It took some time until we could manage to encash the prize, but last weekend, when Expatriate and Placebo played in Leipzig, the time had finally come.
To seize the day, we started early in the morning from Hamburg and enjoyed a comfortable rail journey to Leipzig. Leipzig is definitely one of Germany's most interesting cities with many historical settings and beautiful places, so we took the chance to have a little walk through the inner city before we checked into a lovely hotel that had been booked for us.
In the afternoon we could finally start to prepare for the absolute highlight of the weekend: meeting Expatriate and watching their show! Very excited and curious, we went to Leipzig Arena, where we were brought to Expatriate's wardrobe to meet them and talk to them before they went on stage.
We where absolutely eased when we found out that the guys are not only great musicians, but also absolutely likeable, laid-back and charming, so the time until the concert passed much too fast - but we were reimbursed by the powerful concert they played then. On Sunday we were happy to have enough time to sleep out, have a delicious breakfast and do some more sightseeing before we returned home, feeling tired but happy.
We would like to say "Thank you" for the time of our lives to everyone who helped organising the trip for us and especially to Ben, Dave, Cristo and Damian. We can't wait to see you in HAMBURG in January!"
